There is no greater opportunity to teach your eyes to "see" than working on location. In the case of this 3 day workshop in plein air painting, your location is the lush, tropical environment of Puerto Rico. You will learn how to take what is before you and translate it in to a painting, to edit out what's not important and to organize what you see in to a workable subject matter for your canvas.
You will have the opportunity to work either in watercolor or oil, as the instructor will demonstrate both. Weather permitting, you will work in 3 different locations. If the weather is inclement, you will work at the artist's studio in the mountains of eastern Puerto Rico. Either way, it is a learning experience you will never forget.
